2. Hosting and server log files
When you access this website, the provider automatically collects information your browser transmits (server log files): IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, data volume, browser type and operating system. This data is used solely for the technically error-free operation and security of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after a short period.
3. Cookies
This website uses no tracking or marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are only set where required for operation (e.g. when logging into the admin area). No web analytics service such as Google Analytics is used.
4. Contact form and e-mail
If you contact us via the form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message) to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.
5. Links to social networks
The footer contains simple links to our LinkedIn and X profiles. No social plugins or tracking pixels are embedded; data is only transmitted to these providers once you actively click the respective link.
6. Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection)
To protect our forms against automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Technical data (incl. IP address and browser information) is transmitted to Cloudflare to distinguish human users from bots. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in spam prevention). Any transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. E-mail delivery (Microsoft 365)
For reliable delivery of e-mails – such as enquiries from the contact form – we use Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited). The data provided is processed for the purpose of delivery. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption, recognisable by the “https” in your browser address bar.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
